Requisition Number 09-1170 Description A Teller I represents the enterprise, as tellers interact with the majority of the customers who visit financial centers. A Teller I creates a positive customer experience while providing a variety of services involving the receipt and payment of money. A Teller I uses judgment to determine the validity of transactions needing further review by a supervisor. The role of a Teller I involves constant and direct contact with customers and requires the ability to communicate effectively.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Contributes to Financial Center Customer Service Satisfaction Applies customer service skills acquired through training to exceed customer expectations and build relationships. Exhibits behaviors which add value and instill customer loyalty. Presents a positive image to customers and fellow employees.
Contributes Positively to Financial Center Technical Performance Applies technical skills acquired through training to maintain acceptable levels of tellers difference, operational losses outside of guidelines, security violations, teller errors and average teller transactions per hour.
Contributes to Financial Center Sales Performance Applies skills acquired through training to identify sales opportunities and to make referrals which support the sales efforts of the center. Participates in teller referral promotions.

Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Customer service orientation Previous teller/cashier experience preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds in coin or currency
