Distribution Maintenance Technician

Job Description
Under general supervision, this individual will provide maintenance, technical, and operational support for the Distribution equipment and material handling systems. The scope of this support shall include the Hi-rise AS/RS system, the Pick and Sortation systems, all associated conveyor systems, and related free-standing equipment pieces such as stretch wrappers and strapping machines. This position requires a working knowledge of PLC controls with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair systems controlled by PLC's. CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) exposure and experience is also necessary.

Minimal education required for this job High School Graduate or Equivalent
Skills This position will require a minimum of 5 years experience in Industrial maintenance and support. A strong mechanical background with knowledge of powered and hydraulic drive systems including motors, gear reducers, AC variable frequency drives, DC drive controls, etc. is necessary. This position requires a High School education or equivalent. A willingness to work flexible shifts is a must.
