Job ID: RC10010901 Description: Job Description Responsible for the successful operation of Food & Nutrition Services under the direction of the Director, Food and Nutrition Services. Performs a variety of duties to include the planning and supervision of special functions, maintaining cash controls, payroll records, hiring and training of personnel. Ensures customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient uses of resources.
Recipe to Succeed: · Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills · Good communication skills both written and verbal · Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customer and associate levels · Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices · Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet · Ability to perform various motor skills such as; lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping and arm-hand coordination on a continuous basis · Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions · Exhibit courtesy, tact and reasonable speed in performance of duties
Necessary Ingredients: · B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or Associate's Degree plus three (3) years of directly related experience preferred · Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of hospital or adult home/care experience preferred, depending upon formal degree or training · One (1) to three (3) years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control · Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation · Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable · ServSafe® certified · Certified Dietary Manager certificate preferred but not necessary · Must be able to pass criminal background check Great People.
