Requisition Number 09-1304 Description Job Description: This position is responsible for supporting improved profitability in our Retail Banking Line of Business through analysis and communication of key aspects of business performance - financial, strategic, sales, service, and customer.
Specific responsibilities include: · Developing regular performance reporting on profitability drivers and productivity metrics, stack-ranking all levels of operating units (markets, regions, financial centers, individuals). · Communicating results to market retail leaders and managers, ensuring understanding of measures and connectivity to actions. · Consulting with market retail leaders, identifing opportunities for branch profitability improvement and developing associated implementation plans. · Working with support partners to analyze and forecast the impacts of key business decisions, including technology investments, marketing programs, product pricing, sales initiatives. · Developing strategies and initiatives to improve business line profitability based on facts, research, and insights. · Leading cross-functional project teams on various initiatives. · Tracking the implementation of key business initiatives, coordinating support partner resources and ensuring timelines are met. · Developing regular presentations to Regional Banking and executive leadership.
Requirements Minimum Requirements: · 3+ years of business analysis experience in the financial services industry · strong analytical and financial modeling skills · strong written and oral communication and presentation skills · ability to create partnerships with business leaders · strong project management skills with proven ability to manage many projects at a single time · ability to develop innovative solutions to problems · strong technical abilities and experience with MS Office products, especially Excel and Powerpoint · college degree with business, financial, math, science emphasis
Preferred Qualifications: · advanced professional degree with MBA preferred · experience developing business plans across business applications · retail banking experience in $10B+ asset size bank · customer research and analysis experience · statistical modeling knowledge
