Consultant / Retail Banking Practice
The Acxiom Strategy Consulting Group is responsible for driving strategic customer consulting applications across multiple client engagements in multiple countries. Acxiom's Global Consulting Practice Organization is continuing the build out of our Retail Banking Strategy Practice Group. The primary function of this position is to manage and drive strategic consulting staff and resources across select client engagements. The right candidate will conceive and lead complex marketing solutions and have significant knowledge of a number of specific areas of customer intelligence, business intelligence, customer strategy, infrastructure and technology and insight and analytical processes that result in improved client marketing and decision making. The successful candidate will have proven business unit growth and development skills and be able to lead teams to identify the client's business needs, customer marketing needs and opportunities and drive complex solutions utilizing Acxiom products and services. This candidate will maintain a critical consulting and advisory role with clients and account personnel, and senior management across our retail banking industry vertical.

Detailed Description:
· Manage the process of consulting, the process of identifying and designing consulting methodologies that are based upon client business needs and result in actionable recommendations and programs
· Responsible for overall management of the delivery of consulting projects with clients
· Must understand and lead the process of consulting and drive how these activities integrate into the companies business strategy, products and services and deliverables
· Drive the sales process and development of new and existing clients that meet Acxiom budget, revenue and profitability goals
· Provide thought leadership for clients and the company
· Manage the delivery of critical business consulting processes
· Act as a focal point for internal teams and liaison to clients and senior managers
· Contribute to the intellectual capital of the company and clients
· Provide leadership and direction to staff on all aspects of client deliverables including preparation, management of project budgets and resource allocation
· Develop new processes, plans, partners, vendors, analysis and capabilities
· Contribute to the development and presentation of new business proposals to clients
· Consult on strategic customer and business issues
· Sell in consulting resources, particularly at the strategic level
· Coordinate with other global consulting resources to provide seamless global capabilities

Qualifications:

· 10-15 + years of experience in increasingly senior consulting leadership roles with a major strategy consulting firm with an emphasis on the retail banking industry.
· Or, 10-15+ years of experience in increasingly senior executive leadership roles with major retail banks.
· Demonstrated client acquisition, management and growth experience
· A strong record of professional achievement and management of consulting functions
· Demonstrate the characteristics of intellectual curiosity, responsibility, determination, creativity, flexibility, drive and self-confidence
· Extensive experience with CRM, database marketing, reporting and analysis, business metrics and technology and infrastructure applications
· Qualified candidates will have a BS in business and advanced degree is preferred
· Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship and consulting skills
· Experience managing, mentoring and leading teams
